He will be breaking his 2 times/year status.
Porter is not in the list.
Danny Gift is not in the list.
Berto is not in the list.
Khan is not in the list.
J Rock is not in the list and could be fighting once this year.
Omar Figueroa fought only once this year.
Andrade was forced to fight on HBO and SHO let him slip through their fingers.
    Peterson is left rotting.
Felix Diaz and Collazo need to leave PBC asap.
Peterson left rotting? You're an idiot and you'll change your tune if and when they announce fights for folks on your list. Btw, Andrade was never a PBC fighter. Let me know when you make a list whining about the TR and GBP fighters such as Jessie Vargas who hasn't fought at all this year.

    • Didn't they just have a Press Conference for Wilder vs Ortiz? That is still not enough? The Welterweights all likely return December on some STACKED CARDS similar to that 154 Lubin vs Charlo Card I'm assuming.

Leave PBC and go ***ing where exactly? HBO? Vanes Martirosyan was given his release from PBC, how is that working for him? Patients! Things have a way of working itself out and something will come that will allow guys to get more active and make good Money!Mario Barrios, Yordenis Ugas have fought 3 times this year so if you want to be active you can be if you have no problem with fighting for Less for certain fights just to get in the work. Or you can go for Quality>Quantity and fight Quality opponents for Big Money twice a year!

      • So we're more than 2 years into this and PBC still hasn't had an actual TV contract? You know, PBC being paid by TV networks and not the other way around.

Showtime is paying them more than ever.

          Bounce pays.

          FS1 pays.

          Fox pays.

          Once a year, CBS pays.

But the domino that needs to fall is the UFC TV deal. Fox isn't going to make a long term commitment until they know whether they're losing UFC or not. PBC is at the mercy of the UFC TV deal until they can really try to make their big move.

That's good to know because I'm rooting for PBC to succeed. Are they done with ESPN now that GBP and Arum have deals with ESPN? Are those time-buys as well?

ESPN has been undergoing major budget cuts for a long time. Haymon quickly realized he was never going to get ESPN to spend big money, so he cut the deal short.

Golden Boy cut a deal to give away cards to ESPN2 for free. Not a time buy, but ESPN2 doesn't pay a penny for the shows.

Arum then cut a deal with ESPN to create a joint digital boxing subscription venture after Arum found a hedge fund to put up some money. The details of the arrangement haven't been fully revealed yet, but ESPN isn't spending much money, they're basically using the telecasts as promotion for the eventual subscription service and Top Rank has investors subsidizing the losses just like Haymon has.

And Arum is realizing, like Haymon did long ago, that ESPN will not only avoid putting up big bucks, they'll treat boxing like garbage. You cut your losses and move on. In Arum's case, he'll get fed up at some point, lash out and burn that bridge.

The hope is that PBC secures a long-term deal with FOX. We're all waiting for the outcome. But in the meantime, the Haymon hate is getting tiring. At least use some sense with it. In 2017 alone:
                • Thurman-Garcia
                • Brook-Spence
                • Jack-DeGale
                • Wilder-Ortiz
                • Frampton-Santa Cruz
                • Broner-Garcia
                • Charlo-Lubin
                • Hurd-Trout
                • Pedraza-Davis
                • Easter-Shafikov
                • Zlatcanin-Garcia
                • Benavidez-Medina
                • Benavidez-Gavril
                • Warren-Zhakinayov
                • Broner-Granados
                • Harrison-Hurd
                • Lubin-Cota
                • Berto-Porter

With more to come. ****, Haymon even helped HBO, with Jacobs & Chavez Jr. Cats need to stop whining about PBC and open their eyes to what's really going on.

                  • Spence has disappeared. Jacobs has left for good. Peterson is still inactive. Danny Gift and Porter have no fights scheduled. Khan is rotting. Peterson, Felix Diaz, Collazo, Thurman is still injured after all these long months. Lara is fighting Gausha, instead of Andrade, who is now said to be fighting on HBO.

CBS needs to get rid of Espinoza.

                    • Nothing has changed isn't it?
                      Spence fought once this year.
The Charlo sisters have been around for years, yet hasn't even reached Thurman level popularity.
