Well we are nearly at the end of the 3rd year if going by the premier date of Thurman/ghost of March 2015.
March 2018 is 6 months away, and I don't see them achieving any of that in that timeframe.
For as much money as they spent, they have very little to show for it. Thurman and wilder have grown their profiles, but they still are nowhere near being legit big draws that can headline ppv events.
Anthony Joshua is a much much much bigger draw than wilder, even though wilder has been around longerComment

You don't see it based on what? You initially said they didn't get what they aren't where they thought they would be but the plan was to have a new deal once this one was up. You're saying six months isn't a long enough time to negotiate? Who told you they haven't already been negotiating?Well we are nearly at the end of the 3rd year if going by the premier date of Thurman/ghost of March 2015.

You're inventing these things in your head. The entire point of the PBC model is to kill off pay-per-view and get television partners to put up more money than they were putting up before. Building new PPV stars was never part of Haymon's plan. You're completely off base.
As for the TV deal, Showtime has continued to increase their budget, Fox is starting to spend money, and once the UFC TV situation is sorted out next year, PBC will then be able to sort out their deal as well.
The parties interested in PBC aren't going to make a serious long term commitment before seeing what goes down with UFC. That is the domino that has to fall. How can Fox know what they're willing to pay for PBC without knowing what they paid for UFC? Or knowing whether UFC left, which would then open up their budget.

Come see me in 6 months...You don't see it based on what? "When this deal is up"
And what deal is that? They don't have a deal, they pay for time.
So pbc enjoys paying money for time slots, spending hundreds of millions to buy tv time, it's been 3 years and these dudes haven't accomplished anything, except lose money trying to get fights on tv..
Pbc is dying a slow deathComment
