He can forget about fighting cotto. He won't get cleared to fight in the states and there's no way cotto agrees to fight in Mexico. Sounds like Mexican officials bailed him out of getting stopped and used his eye as an excuse to do so.

everyone knows which of the 2 wins between cotto and Margarito was hollow and it wasn't the 1 sided ass whooping in the 2nd fight. As far as taking souls, Margarito actually ended up the worse of the 2 since their first fight. 0 ko wins, 0 credible wins, 0 world titles and 3 brutal ass whoopings. And now he's reduced to getting saved from quitting by Mexican officials looking to prolong his pathetic career.
