I'm a master level handicapper that wouldld get paid privately for winnging picks. Listen, Oliver McCall knocked Lewis out AT WEMBLEY no quesitons asked. At least Tyson didn't train, Douglas' Mother died and he fought his ass off in the fight like he never fought before. Lewis got clipped and was out. Tyson never got clipped in his prime.

Plus, Lewis had a giant feature abot him. Tyson was a small asś cat. More ability and no genetics, I rate that and so should you and everyone else on Earth.

If by "not like Floyd", you mean by not being almost all defense, then you're right. But if other ATG's fought an almost entirely defensive fight, then yeah, it's not hard to see them going through the same resume as Floyd.

One thing you dont want to do is rewrite history. Because at that point, you find yourself lying. Defense alone wont get you where Floyd got. And Floyd imo, is a pureboxer, not a defensive fighter like Pep, Pernell, Benitez etc.

Floyd stands right in front of you, and capitalizes on every single mistake. More so a 8.0 version of SRL. Pop you in the mouth anytime your open, whether your throwing a punch, and opened to be countered, or whether your sitting back and waiting too much, he will lead.

In those last few fights, he began to run quite a bit. But from 2009 to Canelo fight, he was masterful. And I like Money May more than PBF. Money May was FLAWLESS. NO ONE can do what he did. But when he got old and started running in that Madaina rematch, I dont even think any other fighter could run and eek out a victory tbh.

But next time, please dont lie and try to be slick by rewriting history. Its so unfortunate that you can be as great as Floyd was, and go so unnoticed. He is by far the greatest of all time, yet I have even casuals coming up to me saying he fought bums, because they are repeating something they heard on tv.

They make it seem like he just fought club fighters, when really those dudes were really too big and young for him to even be in the ring with them. Its a great disservice to the sport, to hear people not realizing how impossible it is to be as great as him.

Like I said, I would NOT choose SRL, ALI, or SRR era over this one. Some people who lived to see them fight in their era, died before they could see Floyd in his era.

Anyone that has Mike Tyson in the top 10 ATG should be banned because they DKSAB.


I'm sure Tyson himself would say he's nowhere near top 10. Most people that know boxing would struggle to find a place for him in a list of top 10 HW's.

I think that you have to try really really hard if you dont want to put floyd in your top 10 atg. I find it next to impossible to find 10 fighters that in their prime would win to mayweather in his prime, p4p. This dude is insanely good.

top 5 for me without a doubt. people keep saying how great the older fighters were but if you look at there records they basically fought a lot domestic scrubs and boxing wasnt an international sport back then. think overrating the fighters from the past seems to be equated with being a 'hardcore' fan. Look at some of the fighters someone like greb lost to (who seems to be a top 10 shoe in), lost to someone who was 48-23, 87-23, 62-33, drew to 63-25, and lost to the same guy 3 times. Can u imagine the reaction if floyd lost to a 48-23 fighter? Im not having it that thats one of the best of all time and a 50-0 guy isnt, a guy with pac, mosley, de la hoya, corrales, castillo, canelo, hatton, cotto amongst some other good world level fighters on his record. from where im looking i dont see many fighters who have consistently fought at world level who have gone 50-0. If u dont rate him highly in the GOAT standings i dont really know what a modern day fighter would have to do to be rated highly. and i know people get offended when the old school fighters get criticised but thats the way i see it.
