Did Ward postpone the Froch fight ON PURPOSE?

Postponed the fight at the last minute because of a 'cut' he got in 'sparring'. Was this a ploy to distrupt the Cobra's training? As we all know, the Cobra wasn't his usual vicious self on fight night.. it was if he had overtrained. Only Ward knows if this was all meticulously planned from the outset.

    Your thoughts?

it was still a very close fight though. ward only won by one round, on another night it could have been different.

It wasn't the judges were just watching a different fight to everybody else. Froch finished strong but overall it wasn't a particularly close fight let alone very close. Froch won 2 maybe 3 rounds.

Watch the fight instead of just looking at boxrec. I'm sure this has been said to you many times.

i had it 115-113 ward, i agreed with the judges. ward was making froch look sloppy but wasnt landing good shots. imo froch would have beat him in the uk, ward knew that aswell which is why he never decided to take the uk rematch, by far the most lucrative fight on offer for him

I like Froch but he couldn't beat Ward in the US or UK.

The fight didn't look very close to me. Ward was able to make Froch miss and took away his power advantage, even while being limited with a broken hand.

Ward did slow down a bit toward the end of the fight but Froch was never able to hurt or trouble him.

What a load of bollocks. Froch himself admits Ward beat him. He wouldn't do that if the fight was as close as you say and could have gone either way.
