marg is a cheating scumbag who should've been sentenced to hard time for loaded gloves. .with that said he didnt plaster his chin. the fact of the matter is cotto has never hurt him. the damaged eye ended the rematch not cotto. and that was thanks to pacquiao. cotto was starting to fold to the pressure when the doctor stepped in. with no eye damage marg would most likely be 2-0 vs cotto now.

but a trilogy does absolutely nothing for cotto now. marg wouldn't even get licensed to box in the states. this rivalry is over.

Loaded wraps should be a lifetime ban, fighters put their health on the line enough for our entertainment without cheating scum like this increasing the risk.
I don't even like Cotto, but anyone giving it the whole War Margarito ****e like he's some macho warrior needs to watch the Assault in the Ring documentary and have a look at themselves, it's cowardly as ***.

I don't think Cotto should even consider this fight as a last resort. Cotto's last resort option should be Mikey Garcia, I mean nobody will give him credit for knocking out a guy 2 weight classes below him (although many gave GGG credit for defeating Brook, who is not as good as Mikey). But it will bring a lot of intrigue from casuals, added to both the Puerto Rican and Mexican fan base that are sure to tune in.

This fight is unrealistic for Cotto, first because Marga got busted with loaded gloves and second his eye is far punished.
