So what Rig. been dropped before?? You know what Rig. doesn't have that Lomachenko does??? A LOSS! And no amount of tears or crying is going to to get that back. But feel free to try... He also isn't dragging the 2nd guy in a row up divisions for fights.
And if Lomachenkjo wins good! Then call-out Mikey Garcia and YOU move up! And get LOSS #2.

That's like what's happened in most the big fights this year. On paper it looked like it would be a great year, but in the ring there have actually been very few good top level fights. IF Loma-Rigo happens and is a good fight, IF GGG-Canelo lives up to the hype, IF Wilder-Ortiz happens and Ortiz isn't totally shot and it's a good fight, then yes it could still be a special year. But so far it's only been special on paper... in the ring, it's still been disappointing overall. Plus, corruption is still rearing its ugly head way too often, and tainting the work these top athletes put in. It's a shame, and very unfair to them.
Ward vs. Kov
Joshua vs. Klitschko
GGG vs. Jacobs
DeGale vs. Badou
Spence vs. Brook
Thurman vs. Garcia
Frampton vs Santa Cruz
I think these were all great fights. That's 7 fights and we just hit the 9th month of the year. But some of the fights you call a snoozer, I'd probably would still love because on paper it's supposed to be competitive. There may be more fans who agree with you. For me, I don't care if the fighter lands 10 punches a round to win a fight or 50. I may be one of the few who is entertained by seeing a boxer use his advantages and take away the other fighter's advantages, even if it means being super defensive.

Rigo beat donaire the no 4 ppp and fighter of the year at the time . Loma got beat by salido who got like ten loses at the time .
Loma is good but may weather , ward , rigondeaux and Crawford are on top of him ....
Rigo will beat Loma by tko shot to the body , even tough rigo will go up to 130 . Loma did not got the balls to come to 126 .... he knows what time it is ...
Rigondeaux will show all the world what boxing is all about: hitting and not getting hit .
Too much defense and power punch , rigo wins it ... ya all see .

Pedro Diaz is usually level-headed with his opinions and I have to agree here. Almost anybody (except haters) can see that Loma has great potential. His skill set is fabulous. But until he fortifies his resume with several more meaningful victories, it's pure hot air from Arum to place him up there with Ali.
But the same applies to Rigo. The eye test for him is also clear. He just doesn't fight enough! His signature win is the master class drubbing of Donaire. That's it. I'm not concerned about his other lackluster performances. He seems to be the type that fights at the level of his opponent. Against Donaire, he was sublime. Which is why Rigo-Loma would be a dream fight.
