Ggg gets hit with pretty much every punch thrown at him, he has zero head movement.

Canelo is great at rolling with the punches.
Not true that he has zero head movement. He has lapses. But even in the Jacobs fight he took the sting out of alot of the shots. He wasn't hurt or marked. Unless he is a cyborg how can you explain that. You might not like he's style, but if you really think he gets hit with every shot thrown at him you need an eye test.

Oh the power is there we know that.

But he's just too robotic and stiff to beat someone like canelo.

His stiffest test was jacobs and funny how many felt he lost that fight.

Golovkin has changed his style from the amateurs, to early pro career, to then joining Abel and being coerced to look like JCC. I think if Gennady left Abel, we'd see a better form of GGG with movement. I agree he does look stiff, but that style suits him because he's a very cautious boxer. He sets his body up for proper counters and defense.

But in reality if JCC had just milked one division and stayed there it would've been the exact same narrative. This is why it's fun to troll GGG fans. I would like to have seen GGG challenge himself and forget the beuracracy of not "getting" fights, and to have already become a 2 Division Champ at 168. The fact that he acknowledged fights at the full weight with Bhop at 175 or Fight Froch or JCC Jr. 168 is why it's fun to mock the GGG brigade and easily loose respect for such a crew.

The ggg boys defend everything their salvation has been Alvarez. First Alvarez was even out of the picture to GGG fans once he relinquished the belt. That all the belts were the goal without Alvarez. Then when BJS comes and industry hype Astana, doing GGG a favor For undisputed in his own country, that fight gets dismissed and the ggg fans still excuse it only to go back to NOW wanting Alvarez who has no belts.... ffs...

The ggg fans dismissed Alvarez to then saying Alvarez is important because of the pay. These inconsistencies proves ggg fans are full of shït and indecisive.

Nelo Sept 16th AND THE NEW!

Good points but answer me this... if hes so STIFF? Why has he never been KO'd, knocked down or even visually hurt/in trouble?

People class Willie Monroe Jr as slick, but if you watch his GGG fight again it was Golovkin slipping punches, setting up shots. Just because he's not shoulder rolling and pot shotting doesn't make him not slick. I think he could do that if he wanted too but he likes to preserve energy cutting off the ring using minimal energy whilst his opponent is moving much faster, thinking much faster and using up energy at a far greater rate.

As Matthew Macklin said, after 2 rounds he felt like he'd gone 10 rounds already (or something along that line)

Again, criticizing stiffness in the context from what other boxers say is not the same how fans evaluate boxers. As mentioned, GGG copies traits from JCC because he's being told to do so for marketing. Even Abel Sanchez has said himself he wanted GGG to watch the Edwin Rosario Bout. Look at JCC fight Rosario and see if that's how GGG performs today vs his earlier pro debuts. JCC also challenged himself moving up so such styles are exempt of criticism from multiple division champs. GGG has been milking 160... it's not like JCC ever had a toned muscular frame, just a natural build like most Mexican fighters.

It's not really funny, it's quite natural for people to have different opinions when a fight is close. Personally I had it 6-5 Jacobs going to the 12 and felt GGG won it.

Golovkin may look stiff, but there is an art in that stifness. Is very calculated and serves his purpose.
In fact Golovkin is smarter than some of you think he is.
