McGregor looked like a power puncher before his boxing debut due to how small those UFC gloves are. His power doesn't transition to boxing. I can't imagine how much KO's someone like a prime pac would have if he did UFC, would only need 1 or 2 punches to slaughter someone.

Cotto hits a hell of a lot harder. It's really no contest. Conor lacks the hand speed and proper punching form to come even close to Cotto's punching power. Conor's straight left is a hard punch when he turns his body into it but it's still far from any good Cotto punch in speed and power. Conor knocks out MMA fighters with 4 ounce gloves. Cotto knocks out far more durable pro boxers with the larger gloves.

Connor can fight, but you can tell he is not a seasoned boxer,he is awkward but lacks dimensions in his boxing and once you change the angles on him he loses his sense of distance and that destroys his timing. He then resorts to just running backwards because he is completely lost
