Child support in most states is a set percentage of your income. So imagine if any of us lost our job but still had a large bill set at a fixed amount. The only way to change it is to go back to court and get the woman and judge to agree to a lower amount. Which usually never happens if they only wanted money in the first place or they hate your guts. I personally believe the monthy amount should be capped but that will never happen.
