So if Ward entertains this fight and actually gets it? Will it confirm Ward is ducking Stevenson or people still believe Stevenson is ducking Ward?

Ward can't duck someone who has no interest in fighting the top guys. Whatever window Stevenson had to validate himself closed a longtime ago imo and I actually like the guy. But he's dragged his "reign" out in the most embrassing fashion I've seen in a while. It posses me off that he gets to wear that Kronk logo while pulling this garbage.

If Ward fights Belkew it'll be good money in the UK and it'll add to his brand globally. He's done all that matters at 175 in most pundits mind. It also might be a measure of his interest in fighting the big boys.

whys this fight getting a good reception? Its a terrible fight. Have people forgot about stevenson whooping bellew? He hardly excelled against chilemba or cleverly either and hit the jackpot with hayes achilles snapping. Its an easy fight for ward, very easy. He should be looking to fight stevenson or badou jack. Beterbiev or gvozdyk would be decent too but i appreciate they havent beaten anyone that great yet.

its only been 4 years since he beat dawson. took ward 5 years between froch and kovalev so why cant stevenson do what ward did?

wards cheating style does not travel. why he refused to do the super six unless he was always at home and why he refused huge money fights in the past where he had to travel so not sure why he would do them now. more control? crappier opponent maybe?

his brand also doesnt travel well. the only place he can do even mediocre sales is in oakland because people have to support him basically. its like supporting a family member even if you dont really like them.
