If you thought Pacquiao beat Horn, it was rough fight where a lot of times he didn't even look like his old self. If his intention is to retire, why would he want to go through that again? I didn't think Ward was ducking Kovalev and I don't think Pacquiao is ducking Horn. However, people were lot more vocal in calling Ward a duck.
i never felt that ward duck him. im just saying if you look at both of the names of the opponents, there's a wide gap. kov to ward was a tougher fight than horn was to pac. i know that certain group of fans on here is only saying pac is ducking horn because of what others have said about ward, but look at the names of the opponents lol.

Yeah, there's a wide gap in skills between Kovalev and the Hornet.

People can say what they want, the fact of the matter is that Manny Pacquiao lost to a school teacher. That will follow him, like Pirog haunts Jacobs, Barrera haunted Hamed, Floyd haunts McGregor, Nate Diaz haunts McGregor, Spence haunts Brook, Saunders haunts Eubank Jr., etc. It happens.

Meanwhile Floyd Mayweather is wiping his ass with money after easy work, walking down the Baddest Man on the Planet and making him essentially quit.

The reason why nobody haunts Lennox Lewis is that he soundly avenged every loss. That's all people expect of Manny. Avenge the loss. Prove that it was fluke if it really was. Don't run.

If you say you want a fight, have to be basically threatened by the commission to sign the agreement, sign it and then back out, you're ducking. Period point blank.

And yes, that standard applied to Canelo at the time too. For the same damn reason.

Because Manny has "Hornet Problems" and he's not sure he can solve them. He's never been outright bullied and walked down like he was in that fight.

Say what you will about Choco, he's facing his fears by stepping up to a rematch with Sor Rungvisai aka Minny Pacquiao. I respect him for at least taking that step, unlike Manny.

        Ducking The Hornet.
Lots of flawed logic here. Pac is under no obligation to rematch Horn. There were many fights that Floyd should have and could have fought but didn't, but we will never hear you or his fans call it a duck.

None of the fighters you mentioned are haunted by their losses. You really think McGregor is haunted by lasting ten rounds with Mayweather when Floyd had all of the advantages going in? Conor/Floyd worked you casuals over and are laughing all the way to the bank, no one is haunted here.

crawford is the best along with lomachenko today, they both would beat any version of pacquiao

pac tried to beat marquez 4x failed 4x, lost to morales and got KO'd by a noname with a single bodyshot. see i can do the same it's ez. but the difference is crawford actually KO'd gamboa, he didn't get a gift decision. pacquiao is way too overrated, he had a huge fanbase that's it.

Floyd hasn't lost. He has no need to avenge. Bad analogy.

                Uh, what?

                Height: McGregor
                Weight: McGregor
                Reach: McGregor
                Speed: McGregor
                Age: McGregor
                Gloves: McGregor

Not sure where you get off unless you're implying something about judges - something Floyd had no need for.

Or did you forget that he walked down the Baddest Man on the Planet and stopped him?

Ya'll need to recognize this dude now, made an ATG duck him, delays in getting the rematch done, excuses...
Geez bubba, give it a rest. Next you'll be saying this lucky fixed fight gift winner is an ATG. LOL!!!!!

but if Pac was ever going to get motivated by something..... I thought that avenging his loss to Horn and regaining the WBO welterweight title should be enough?

I see that as a winnable fight

maybe he has checked out already
I honestly think he checked out already, he didn't give the first fight with Horn much respect and his skills have clearly diminished. Best get out now i think.

                    • Pacquaio finally realizing Arum is setting him up to fail?

Manny should retire then. What a shame that he went out like that.
