Take it from someone who's been stopped her last 3 fights. Way too early lol. Dude didn't throw a punch for what--a minute? Any other ref would've jumped in there inside of 15-20 seconds of no defense. The MMA kids can say he was fine. He can say he was--what was it, "wobbly"? But he was hurt and defenseless and could've had a budding young career shortened had they let it continue. The unguarded, unassuming brain inside of a skull can't defend itself. It's not bias. It's just the facts. I've seen much, MUCH better fighters get knocked out cold, then be smiling and saying "nothing hurt" while the ring announcer is announcing the winner. Really? They've got to get over this fight and move on.

Let's not forget Holm chose not to tap and instead got choked out by Meisha Tate so she's one of the them take me out on a stretcher kinda fighters.

This is why I say that refs need to allow fights to reach a conclusive finish. Be slow to pull the trigger on a stoppage like they used to be back in the day.

Perhaps the 3 knockdown rule and the standing 8 count need to be brought back and used more often.

That way the winner gets full credit.

Hate to say it but Bayless, Byrd tend to have a soft spot for certain fighters.... Bayless is Floyd's personal own bodyguard. Rumor has it a whole X-TRA large bucket of popcorn was thrown at Floyd and Bayless made sure not even one seed hit him...

the fight was stopped to give floyd his tko win for his last fight. when the ref stop the fight, floyd didnt even land any punches LOL. the ref stopped it based on the momentum of floyd going forward. make no mistake, floyd would still win the fight but it wouldnt be by a tko but a decision win.
