Did Cotto keep trying, yes, did he take a knee and get up yes, was the fight stopped because Cotto didn't get up no. The fight was stopped because his corner threw in the towel. I've actually gained a lot of respect for Cotto since that fight. I know it's all in fun but I respect any fighter willing to get in the ring. I was even rooting for him that night believe or not.
