      Okay I do remember some noise about this now that you bring it up.

      My hot takes:
      Fighters have no obligation to carry out unofficial same day weigh ins.
      BUT it's a bad look for Jacobs that he didn't want to do one.
      BUT all that is irrelevant for how the fight went, Jacobs could have put in that same performance with or without a weight advantage.

      I had it Golovkin 7-5 the night of the fight and after the match I thought a lot more of Jacobs as a potentially elite fighter, I still rate it Golovkin's best win.

        Just so that we're clear before going any further, you can't point to a single round where you can clearly say "that one went to Jacobs"?

They tried to use the mandatory weigh in before the fight as an excuse and all kinds of other excuses from carrying Jacobs to whatever...and their man won lol. You didn't have to do this. We knew this-us real boxing fans did.
