I don't understand how much people and media always find a way to bring up Floyd's domestic abuse but yet Tyson gets a pass for raping someone. Tyson has done and said more de****able things than Mayweather but no one brings that up. He's adored and loved like he didn't do anything wrong.

Time will tell but yeah, maybe. He's reached a point where pretty much everyone has heard of him.

He'll never be as loved as Ali because of what Ali did outside of boxing. Like standing up for the national of Islam among other things. However if we're just talking skills and star power we have to put him above both of them. He's solidified himself as the most well known/watched boxer of all time. Skill-wise he's clearly better than both. Although people don't consider him as entertaining.

We do not know, we have no concept of that yet, because Floyd was too recently active. When Ali had just finished being active, he still had a lot of haters. You have to let the smoke subside and see how people treat Floyd 20-30 years from now. The same people who hate Floyd today, and hate black athletes being outspoken about social issues, and mock black fans about welfare would do the same exact thing to Ali and his fans if there was internet/boxingscene in the time of Ali.

As popular as Mayweather is, walk down a street in Timbuktu or Mumbai or Karachi or Budapest and they will think he is a rapper.

Show them a pic of Ali or Tyson, they will instantly know.

There is being a superstar and then there's being Tyson and then, even a level above that, Muhammad Ali.

Ali is on a level all by himself.

I think Tyson is on another level vs. Floyd

We live in a different world, you can't measure success by PPV numbers only.

I think Tyson is a much bigger name than Floyd is or will ever be. Ali and Tyson were athletes that were known by everyone here and around the world. I don't think Floyd is even close to that level. No one really cares about Floyd's personal life.

I do see now that the ESPN one was based on active athletes at the time so that explains why Floyd isn't on at all. I still believe he is not in the top 10 of this list.
