Star power, Floyd holds 5 of top 10 PPV records a feat that will not be beaten, his star power is off the charts.

Mayweather got more to play with the big show for 5 minutes than Tyson got for all his appearances combined.

Ali's family sold rights to his name for $50 million. Mayweather earned 6 times that a week ago.

Mayweather is bigger than them combined.

No and yes. He will never come close to Muhammad Ali. He's about as infamous as Mike Tyson but only through social media. In five years people will have forgotten who Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is outside of boxing circles.

Floyd is the PPV king and the richest boxer of all time, but he's nowhere close to being as influential as Tyson or Ali.

this is very true...but also in a different era. based on that criteria alone, it's pretty well impossible to make a comparison that takes all the variables into account. we're in a premium cable/ppv/internet age, where Tyson and ali weren't.

              Classy

Sexual and physical assault are similar as a control issue but completely different in context. It just depends on how it manifests itself.

Floyd has a history of knocking women about, so the chances are it gives him a b0ner. You don't do something again and again unless you enjoy it.

Ali is in another category. But as far as everyone else, yeah, Floyd is the head of the class.

If Floyd lost it would be news. When ALi or Tyson 1st lost, it was the top story on the front page around the world. IMO Floyd doesn't occupy that space.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?? IF fLOYD LOST THE INTERNET WOULD SHUT DOWN AND IT WOULD BE SPLATTERED ALL OVER THE NEWS PAPER AND ON CNN
