The WBC have said they will do ANYTHING IT TAKES to make a unification happen, so they're willing to put the mandatory aside.

We all know AJ isn't fighting Pulev next and I'll bet anything you want that he doesn't fight Ortiz NOR a WBA mandatory next (if Ortiz fights Wilder as expected, they won't make him fight Ustinov, who is next in line, right away) ... so why NOT at least TRY to make a unification?

Why would any boxing fan not want every effort made to unify the heavyweight titles?
Of course the WBC is willing to put aside a mandatory for wilder. They are always willing to put aside a mandatory for BUMSQUAD. I'm not against a unification. Joshua is the best HW in the world and one day he will pick up that last belt. But it will be a while, wilder is content to hold on to that belt as long as he can like chickenson
