Let's also not forget how Canelo has the most DUMBEST game plan for a fight. Trying to out box Floyd was beyond ******. His team should all be slapped silly for even allowing him to train and actually try that. Not one person told him WTF are you thinking!!! They all said cool, great plan Mr. CANELO...

The problem is that most of the guys with those good jabs didn't or couldn't take advantage of it. Amir Khan didn't have the power to hurt Canelo, the chin to take Canelo's punches or the defensive discipline/skill to avoid Canelo's shots over a full 12 rounds. Erislandy Lara had power, skill and discipline that Khan lacked but offensively he was too passive and gave rounds away. Floyd Mayweather Jr did a fine balancing act that should have won him more rounds than it did (at least 2 of the judges gave it to the right guy).

GGG is a different beast. He's not going to be inactive like Lara. He has the power to hurt Canelo, the aggressiveness to consistently use it and the chin to take Canelo's shots. Sure, Canelo moves his head but lets not pretend he's Pernel Whiticker in there. GGG has a good, stiff and accurate jab. I think his effectiveness with the jab will determine how this fight goes. If Canelo can neutralize it then he's going to win. If he can't we're going to see long stretches of the fight going the same was as GGG vs. Lemiuex.
Nah I wasn't going so far to suggest that he's anywhere near sweat pea nor do I think he has to be.

Canelos has good head movement and he can do I while staying in position. He doesn't just make you miss he can counter off the miss because he generally doesn't move too far.

You also raised my point. I feel like Canelo has fought far better pure boxers but was able too outscore them and at the very least-- subjectively.

Your also right, Canelo has never faced guys as aggressively composed or with the power of G. If it was just aggression I'd say it be easy for Canelo. But G has jab to work his aggression and body shots to slow you down. Which will be key to this fight. I think Canelo can neutralize the jab, but I'm not sure if Canelo can avoid the body shots at the same time. If G hasn't put work into he body by round 6 it's Canelo fight. Imo

GGG can only win by KO. Canelo will get the decision if the fight travels the full distance.

Mayweather did dominate canelo. He made him look pedestrian.

CJ ross saw a draw. But that was the last time she judged a fight. She was on the take.
