Conor is a master of couching excuses with classy-sounding words when he fails to deliver on his bold promises.
"A little change in certain areas of the prep", "a little more time", blah blah blah. I truly believe these are the words of a delusional man who refuses to recognize that he can be defeated and has been defeated.
Before the fight, Conor stated that he was going to bounce Floyd's head off the canvas within a couple of rounds. After the fight, Conor is stating that he was oh so close to being able to box for 12 rounds. He didn't just move the goal post; he moved to a stadium on the opposite side of the planet.
