Its a good fight, but is Kov even gonna fight again? Dude seemed a lil shook with the loss regardless of the low blow KO situation. It certainly seemed like the result was a foregone conclusion with how things were trending & I believe Kov knew that as well.Comment

I get the feeling Kovalev is done. He may fight on, but the Ward fights either took something from him or exposed something.
One of my greatest wishes in boxing is to see that cherry picking slacker Stevenson KO'd and give his belt to someone who deserves it. However, I do not see Adonis taking such a risk against a red hot Barrera.Comment

Kov seems like he's doing good with his money judging, he's living good and he isn't spending it much. Kov's purpose of boxing was just in it for the money, and probably when he got that (he probably got 1.5-2million each in both ward fights) he thought it is time to hang up, dont focus it much.Comment

Kovalev won the first fight and Ward had to resort to PEDs in the second fight because that was the only way he could beat Kovalev. Where'd Ward get that power from? Never had it before. But suddenly in the second fight he's punching harder than ever before. Cheating bum.Comment

Waddup Eff, I think the main thing Kov will lack to find is motivation.
He hardly collected 3 belts and lost them.
Vs Ward he was at the short end of the stick in the first fight- frustrating, and got koed in the rematch-very frustrating.
Now Ward has the belts and he won't fight him a third time, Stevenson is on his "Sven Ottke" run in Canada,
so I dunno what is left for Kov expect to get a title shot at CW but again, all CW titilists are stacked in a tournament lol
Kovalev is fcked up.Comment

This is a very difficult fight for Kovalev coming off his two controversial "losses" to Ward.
Barrera is a top 5 light heavyweight.
They should have Sergey fight a warm-up opponent first, then perhaps Barrera next year.Comment
