Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson Gives McGregor an 'A' For Debut - "He Did Great!"

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has a different take on UFC superstar Conor McGregor - after watching the MMA fighter make his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather Jr. last Saturday night. At the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, McGregor was able to put in a better than expected showing - but ultimately faded in the late rounds and was stopped during the tenth.

      I agree with the G.O.A.T.

The fact that he didn't get completely killed is impressive.

McGregor did damn good for his professional debut and only an idiot would deny that.

Are you calling Tyson the GOAT? Lol that's rich, but I guess it's no different than people calling Floyd TBE, or Ali the greatest. **** it, it's all a matter of opinion anyway

Exactly. It's just a shame all the Conor fans blow it out of all proportion by claiming Conor would have come back and won, he won first 6 rounds, Floyd's punching had no effect he just gassed...and so on.

It takes away from what was actually a great debut performance and better than expected.

Just give both men their props and accept the result.

This cat punched himself out in three rounds. He looked like **** no matter how low you try to low expectations. I mean, expected McGoober to do poorly but I didn't think he'd be exhausted after a few rounds. And Floyd didn't even work Conor's body and wear him down like I thought he would.
