Yea all things considering idk how you can't give Conor points for his performance. How many cats have ever fought 10 rounds in their pro debut ffs. And idk that anyone's ever did that vs a legend in boxing. You can't do anything but respect what Conor did unless your just hating on the guy.

I know this might be tough for you to understand, but any logical person who truly understands boxing imo knows that those old fighters like Robinson, Armstrong, Pep, etc. are the only guys who actually deserve to be in that GOAT conversation (I mean being #1)
Now if you want to put in all the cultural stuff, then we could throw in a bunch of names (including the three mentioned above). Don't confuse cultural significance with ring accomplishments. Don't get me wrong, I think Floyd and Ali are in that top tier somewhere, but Tyson isn't even close lol
For example, if you just look at them on paper as boxers, a guy like Duran has a better resume than all of them, although you might decide they were more talented than him, his in ring accomplishments are substantial imo. It's all a matter of opinion.Comment

Tyson is right. Conor did great. Froch said during the Sky commentary he wasn't impressed with Conor LOL I laughed so hard...people were expecting a master pugilist? He did very well considering it was his first pro boxing fight. Some people are just grumpy no matter what.Comment

The guys was 0-0-0 in professional boxing, won 4 rounds and even landed some nice shots on a defensive wizard, and lasted 10 rounds with Floyd Mayweather. Not to mention, made a ton of money in the process.
It's a win - win for Mcgregor. He can walk away with his head high.Comment
