Not necessarily. Like canelo said, no sanctioning body will tell me what to do; who to fight, when and where. When you're a superstar, like Bud clearly is now, you don't take orders like participating in a purse bid 3 weeks after you fought. If anyone honestly thinks Bud is afraid of lipinets, or any other fighter at 140, they clearly know nothing about boxing.

Yea I mentioned that if there is some sorta beef or dislike that could alter the narrative.

Whatever happens doe, just like with Canelo & avoiding GGG til next month or Bowe throwing his belt in the garbage to avoid Lennox, it'll be a bad look doe. Lipinets is a legit enough guy to fight at 140 when there is nothing to do at 140 + he's the mandantory (however bs the mandatory got earned). I mean are there some money fights at 140 that I'm missing that seem likely to happen? I mean Mikey would make sense, but I think thats a longshot.
