definition of A-level Fighter: A fighter with exceptional world elite-level skills that had done great things in his career, and can hang on with other A-level fighters with great resume or building a great resume.
Definition of "PRIME": Prime, a person at the height of his physical strength and capabilities.

So give me 1 Prime A-level fighter that Mayweather has fought in his ENTIRE career.

    Moseley - Passed his prime
    Pacquiao - Passed his prime
Corrales - Prime, but lost his big fights, got KO'ed by castillo and multiple times by other fighters, can't be classified as an A-level with those reasons alone
    Castillo - Obvious B-level
Hatton - Lost all his big fights, and lost AT WELTERWEIGHT to Mayweather instead of his natural weightclass, got a gift also against Collazo, got KO'ed all too easily against an A-level fighter in PAcquiao not really having a good resume, B-level
    Dela Hoya- Passed his Prime
    Shamba Mitchell - LOL
    Andre Berto - LOL
    Carlos Baldomir - LOL
    Victor Ortiz- Even more LOL
Robert Guerrero - Lost literally to a cab driver
Maidana - Never did anything great other than beating Broner
Marquez - Passed his prime, got pulled from lightweight also.
Miguel Cotto - Damaged Goods, beaten by Margarito and Pacquiao

So........is this the great resume that you all have been clamoring for? Not having fought a Prime A-level fighter in his entire career?
Your entire argument is flawed. It is not about where the fighters end up after he fought them. It is about who they were when he fought them.

Corrales was supposed to Kill him, being bigger and a monster puncher.

Hatton was supposed to kill him because he stopped Castillo who gave Mayweather "hell".

Zab is supposed to beat him because Zab was faster and a south paw.

Mosley destroyed Margarito a fight earlier...someone who Mayweather "ducked" out of fear.

Oscar was too big and experience.

Marquez was a tune up who later knocks out Pac cold.

Canelo is too big and skilled.

Manny fires punches in bunches and will break Mayweather's Philly shell.

LOL that is serious ownage, so bad that the first reply included Cotto and Judah as prime opponents.

Might as well end the thread, the maynerds are going to go full ******.

Corrales was never supposed to kill Mayweather lol Hem ight have been somewhat of a favourite but no huge margins.

Mayweather was huge favourites over everyone else. Laugh at "hatton was supposed to kill Mayweather"

Dont you even feel ashamed lying for someone you dont know on an internet forum that doesnt matter?

Floyd's beaten 7 and a few of them were in their prime.
A-level such as skills, resume axcomplishment. Not just a fighter reaching the top ten, gets beaten and then never to return. Because in that case, we will be calling Robert Guerrero A - Level.

We have someone in this thread claiming GGG isn't A-Level, when he is the #1 recognized middleweight for the past 4 years, top 5 P4P everywhere (except teddy atlas' head), undefeated and KOs pretty much everyone, and has beaten at least 8 Ring top-10 middleweights.

It's ridiculous, they act like there's only been one or two A-Level boxers per weight class in the history of boxing.

              Connor Mc Gregor

A true athlete in his prime, talented, mastering his craft.

              Unfortunately his craft wasn't boxing...

Yawn. Here we go with this again. I wonder if those that hate Floyd can ever be honest. Manny, odh, james, Shane, cotto, kosta, etc. wouldn't fight Floyd when they were in their primes because they saw what he did to guys that did like corrales.

It's ok. Gotta find some way to knock him down since they couldn't beat him in the ring.

floyd was the most ducked fighter until he beat oscar, once he was the ppv star everyone wanted to fight him all of a sudden. see maidana, 2 fights with floyd and is now enjoying retirement.

He is not aLevel.
Did you consider Lennox Lewis an A-level fighter? Based on your argument he was not..
