Showtime, UFC have to tread with caution on such matters. It was a given that the fans would get their money back but publicly they have to pick their words carefully.

Essentially they wouldn't want to say anything that suggests they were liable for the screw up. They will pay the fans back and get the money back from the company running the servers.
