Actually Hopkins didn't dehydrate that much at MW, he was still in the 160s on fight night.

Candelita is way too big and looking slow. She thinks that packing on all that muscle will allow her to overpower lil G but it won't help at all. The loss of speed and crushing effect on stamina will rear it's ugly head early in the fight. Especially after lil g starts landing those lefts to the body, the diva will be a sitting duck before long.

floyd is a smaller welterweight than GGG is a small middleweight. Floyd drains like 3 lbs max.

GGG drains 8-10 lbs. That might be slightly below average these days. But 168 lbs on fight night is NOT a small middleweight.

GGG is a bigger middleweight than Hopkins was when he fought at 160 to put it in perspective and hopkins competed fine at 175 when he moved up.

Hopkins is taller so the weight would be distributed better. Where did you get those stats on Hopkins weights on fight night I'd like to see them..

Thanks. I'm going to look up Gotti I read once that he had huge weight gains. I don't know how Golovkin would perform at 168 or 175. Everyone is different. Hopkins is one of a handfull of middleweights titlests that won another title at 175. It also depends on how good the 175 pound champ is. For example if Hopkins had to fight Andre Ward or Micheal Spinks for the title he would lose IMO. That aside what Hopkins did was amazing especially at his advanced age.
