I think Pulev was paid off good money to walk away from his Mandatory Spot by "SOMEBODY"! The push now is for the WBA to strip AJ allowing Wilder vs Ortiz would be a unification Bout for that Vacant WBA Title! Sounds like the WBA is on board with that idea now it just comes down to what AJ prefers to do.

I think AJ should fight Ortiz to keep his Belt! Even if he is stripped we still get a great match up between Wilder vs Ortiz so it is Win/Win. If AJ doesn't fight he will get bashed for it and rightfully so but again it is still Win/Win because if Wilder takes care of Ortiz that only make their fight BIGGER! If he is stripped then he might as well wait for the winner of Parker vs Fury for a Unification Bout because it is no other respectable opponent available at the moment!

And no , Klitchko said Joshua was a great talent that would take over the division after sparring him in 2015 . Had King not protected Stiverne , Klitchko would have got the belt and Wilder wouldn't even be a champion unless he fought Arreola for it.

Key word there is BEST of the division ....its now closer to 2018 . lol

The WBA ain't stripping the division's cash cow, Ortiz is standing for a step aside fee. The WBA will want their belt on the line when AJ faces Pulev, and they'd sure as hell prefer AJ to be holding it rather than Ortiz.

I don't wanna see Stiverne in the ring ever again, and like yourself I wanna see Ortiz Wilder too, seems like Hearn is just delaying an announcement until after Ortiz clarifies his next move, this is likely the delay in the announcement in both fights.

Ortiz holding that WBC belt ain't gonna get him any closer to AJ, Parker will be the next in line with him lining up multiple fights against British heavyweights Hughie Furry, Whyte and Bellew.

Ortiz trying to pick up a strap without fighting AJ or Wilder! Geez, we're never going to get the top guys in there together.
