Cooper had Ali knocked silly by a left hook against the ropes. the bell rang, and Ali was by all rights out on his feet. Angelo Dundee supposedly cut his glove to buy Ali more time. However, I heard they still got Ali up and fighting before the minute time period between rounds expired. not for sure though.

In all honesty as a Castillo fan (I like Corrales too but more of a Castillo fan, maby not for long), I am actually surprised he did not hold a press confress and apologize for not making weight and halting if not destroying the chances of what could possibly have been one of the greatest trilgies in history.
