The punch that was the beginning of the end was at exactly 2:11 of the 9th. It was a Floyd uppercut after a little Conor flurry that Conor didn't see coming and have a chance to roll with. It stood him up and his legs got a little weak and Floyd pounced.

      Thoughts?
      Being a good company man?
      Too emotionally attached?

Schaub was talking about how Floyd said Connor wasn't that hard of a puncher. Rogan interjected with " But Connor did not look like he was putting a lot of power in his punches."
      Joe Rogan's right.

USMCer: To be fair, Conor didnt really employ his big shot. He tried to pick and pop more than blast that left like he usually does. Though, he did use that uppercut, and landed one or two.

USMCer: Conor was more measured than he is in MMA. You never saw him commit to that famed 'Celtic Cross'. I think he thought he could/would have to go all 12, so he was more measured with his attack.
      Plus, it's Mayweather.

USMCer: McGregor was measured. He jabbed. He moved his feet. He landed one-two's. (He rabbit-punched, which was B.S.). He probed. He countered. He landed upppercuts. But he didn't "go for" Mayweather, he never went full bore.

LOL, so Floyd was letting Conor hit him with shots and win rounds and Conor wasn't trying to hit hard. What a bunch of $h!t all the way around.

              THE ACTUAL QUOTE:

Rogan - "But Conor did not seem like he was putting a lot of power in his punches. It looked like he was trying to be real active"

Joe has to be sour as f**k, nough said.

The dude has mentioned how great MMA is over boxing plenty of times and even had to interject when Holly Holms was beating up Rhonda and the one UFC commentator mentioned, boxer Holy Holms turned MMA fighter is beating up Rhonda. Joe jumps in, but it's not even just the punches, it's the kicks too! lol

Joe was dismissing Mayweather's notion that McGregor doesn't hit hard when he said this.
Joe, who is generally a rational guy, would be more credible stating that Connor simply doesn't have the power of a Maidana, Cotto, Canelo, or even a Mayweather.
Yet he chose to say this, which clearly shows his refusal to acknowledge the reality of the situation.

Not that he wasn't trying lol, why wouldn't he try?

He couldn't because he had poor punching technique.
