Boxing fans, explain mcgregors early success?

The sweet science looked overrated. Foyd turning his back, conner landing more shots than any other fighter.

The ecuses are mind boggling, Floyd had to let an MMA fighter gas, to score the KO.

its not how a fight starts its how it ends, dont know why people are so obsessed with what happened in the first couple of rounds. its clear floyd had a game plan to get him out of there and the game plan worked.

the game plan was to let conor blow his load, it wasnt to take that many shots from him, which floyd did. im sure that wasnt part of the game plan unless floyd was trying to impersonate brandon rios?

conor had success early on with his reach. why didnt conor just keep throwing that lead right hand? just keep putting it out there, even if it doesnt do damage, it kept floyd at bay. he would have saved more energy.

Floyd intentionally carried Mcgregor to make the fight more interesting for casual fans.

Floyd threw 6 punches total in round 1, clearly he was letting Mcgregor win rounds early for entertainment purposes and to let him tire himself out.

Then Floyd beat Mcnugget's ass, walked him down, and made him quit.

            It's pretty simple

Floyd is old and lost a step. Conor is younger and has long arms. He hit floyd with some shots that others couldn't because they are not taller nor have as long a reach as Conor. Conor didn't realize how much energy a fighter loses from missing shots and having them hit the opponents arms.

Floyd covered up, stood in the pocket, and forced Conor to adjust and he couldn't because he was tiring. Floyd overcame the early adversity.

Isn't that what great fighters do, overcome adversity and find a way to win?
