Here are fighters in the same stable, very much available,
same adviser, same network, yet they'd rather waste their
    prime years doing nothing.
The don't share the same trainer. Doe.

Yeah, that's the excuse with Lara and the Charlos.
This time Jacobs and Charlo have different trainers.
      They still won't fight.

Haymon is doing such a poor job with these guys. Jacobs pretty much lost all his momentum from the GGG fight.

Next year probably. Jacobs probably fights once more this year then they wait to see what happens with the WBC belt.

Any prediction for these 2 fighters?
We know they're never going to fight each other, not even in the distant future.
Can we at least guess who they're going to fight next?
We all know Cnelo won't fight any one of these guys.
Glovkin will most likely resume business with Saunders or the guy who beat him. Monroe has been calling out Glovkin for a rematch.
So why are these guys Jacobs and Charlo wasting their prime years?

if you havent noticed pbc ran out of money....all they can do is wait on showtime but does showtime/pbc want to use a lot of their budget on one fight? remember jacobs is going to demand a lot of money so its not realistic

That's true, especially when he got away with making more than he deserved in the Glovkin fight. Which took a year to make.
Almost seemed like he's the A-side in that fight.
I don't see him satisfied with getting $1 mil for a Charlo fight, who the Haymon/Floyd fans see as the guy who would murk Glovkin.

Charlo is making a big mistake in not calling out Jacobs.
Jacobs would be pricing himself out anyways.
It would be good optics for Charlo's rep.
Charlo's handlers are not doing a good job here.

If he can't then he will make another plan. Jacobs should've already had a planned fight in place. IMO he is waiting to see if GGG will rematch him and that is ridiculous. He needs to make a fight now.

If Charlo doesn't get the title fight, hopefully they will fight each other.
Sounds good to me. I think there is no chance Charlo gets a fight with either Canelo or Golovkin right after they fight. Canelo isn't going to fight a dangerous opponent who brings no money to the table. If he beats Golovkin he won't have any fear it will be a money situation.

Golovkin will either be in rematch, Saunders or rematch vs. Jacobs. He also has two mandatories. Also maybe he'll move up.

So I think Charlo's chance of getting either guy after their fight is slim to none. But I get it wait around for a bit to see, make some noise in the press but he'll need to fight someone else first. I hope it is Jacobs. If he beats Jacobs then there really can be no avoiding him as he'd be clearly the 2nd best MW.

Here's what I'd like to see as a Golovkin fan:

Golovkin completely blows out Canelo, TKO/KO. It is a Hopkins vs. Tito type of performance. No rematch needed.

Saunders wins (not because I like him but I'd rather see a new fighter for Golovkin than same one).

Golovkin vs. Saunders in March 2018 & and an undercard fight of Jacobs vs. Charlo to face Golovkin/Saunders next in August or September 2018.

The Golovkin-Saunders & Jacobs vs. Charlo fight in NYC or maybe Golovkin-Saunders in London with Jacobs vs Charlo in NYC. Or maybe all just in Vegas as a PPV event.

Winners fight in Los Angeles if it is Golovkin, if it is Saunders than London.
