Ever since Jacobs's strong showing against GGG other middleweights act like he doesn't exist. Jacobs is the ultimate high risk, low reward guy right now since he has no title.
Lara is not only a loud mouth, but he and Decubas have become liars and con men. Lara called out the winner of the Jacobs/Quillin winner, Andy Lee and others when he was promoting his Zaveck fight. He rematched Martirosyan, instead, fought retired Foreman and now he's fighting Gausha.

These people are wasting their prime years.

We all know Cnelo/Glovkin winner would want none of these guys. Cnelo for one don't even give a crap about mandatories. Glovkin would most likely resume business with Saunders.
Which basically means Charlo and Jacobs are just wasting their time for nothing. Or an excuse to duck fights or take long layoffs.
It makes no sense for Charlo to fight Jacobs until he has a title of his own or has lost in the title fight he is due. Jacobs has nothing going on right now other than a rumored October fight against Mr.Whothe****knows. He's squandered the buzz that came with his performance against GGG with his inactivity. He needs another explosive win to remind people he still exists. Then he'll be able talk about bigger fights.

The biggest hurdle standing in the way of this fight is Danny Jacobs ability to stay at 160. Who knows if he can even make it comfortably anymore?

I actually don't see it ever happening. Not even in the distant future the way the rate it's going; one meaningful fight a year.
We're not even sure Jacobs want it.
I don't see these people getting pro-active about their careers.
They seem content waiting for long periods of time fantasizing about some imaginary money fight.
Like already mentioned, Charlo is not getting his title shot any time soon.
Glovkin will be going after Saunders, win or lose, while Cnelo doesn't care about mandatories.

Jacobs thinks he beat GGG so he is looking for a payday and a fight with Charlo isnt gonna give em that.

That would take a year dawg. Plus 2 years of negotiations.
First one took one year to make with Jacobs practically acting like he's the A-side dictating the terms.
How much more if he thought he won the fight?

Fight is expected to be a tough fight for both.
Jacobs would want a minimum of $2 mil for this fight.
But Haymon would rather make cheaper fights,
which are slightly more marketable than a fight made by these two.

Who says cold war is the root of all evil in boxing?
Here are fighters in the same stable, very much available,
same adviser, same network, yet they'd rather waste their
                    prime years doing nothing.

TBH, I don't see this fight ever happening.
Not even in the distant future.
There's hardly anything from the media about it.
The very entity that should be generating interest.
