His boxing skills were decent, but honestly nothing mindblowing. There wasn't that much to his gameplan except a long jab and the occasional body shot, and really nothing in the way of real power. I think making weight took it out of him and he obviously wasn't conditioned for 12 rounds. If anything his performance is more because of Floyd's atypical tactics, or because age has finally caught up to Floyd, or more than likely a combo of the two. Floyd is now finally, truly done, and McGregor is better off going back to the UFC, where he can make full use of his actual skillset and probably make more money in the long run. I just hope McGregor doesn't end up fighting Paulie, that would be a joke.

those scorecards were one of the worse ones I've seen in awhile. the fight was A LOT closer than that. Connor deft won the first 3 rounds, and might one 1 or 2 additional rounds after.

I expected mayweather to treat mcgregor like he did Gatti from the 3rd round on. Instead, mcgregor made Floyd more uncomfortable than either Pacquiao or Canelo did at any point during their fights vs mayweather. Granted mayweather is older now and fought coming forward more... But still.

At least now that Floyd acknowledged Conor skills. They should be able to realize what you had to go through with Notorious.

Their favorite excuse for you is you carried him to 10 rounds while you got hit cleanly over and over like as if you did that on purpose lol
Stfu! Connor only won rounds 1, 3 and 8. He lost round 2, round 4 was tight but Floyd landed cleaner and harder. And McGregor lost all the other rounds clearly.

Floyd fought the opposite of what he usually does and still dominated Connor.

You guys can't see what's going on here? McGregor touched Floyd because Floyd wanted him to. He's been telling the world for some time now that his next venture IS MMA. Don't you understand that he's trying to be on MMA's fans good side, by not totally humiliating their guy?

Throughout the promotion Floyd kept saying OVER and OVER again that he would walk Connor down and knock him out late, and then he did exactly that.

So wtf are you on about it didn't go exactly as planned? There is tons of video evidence of Floyd saying he would do exactly what he did on fight night.

yes, floyd said it will not go the distance. although, i havent seen floyd said he's gonna walk conor down and knock him out late before the fight.

but i think you are missing the point about "didnt go as planned".. im sure floyd and yourself, didnt think conor would have that much success early on?

if floyd was a bigger puncher and wasn't 40 years old and coming off of a layoff he'd have knocked mcgregor out in a few rounds. i've never seen a fighter earn millions of dollars with his head straight up in the air like that. he's very luccky floyd's timing was way off until the very end of the fight, and that the man was 40 freaking years old.

hell, a hard puncher probably would have stopped connor in training camp. he clearly wasn't getting hit hard in camp, or he'd have never had his head up like a alter boy trying to project for the church choir.

Ya'll are some dumb racist mother****ers not to give conner some credit.

Had it been reversed, floyd would get shoked out/ground and pounded in 30 seconds in a cage.

Conner is the better athelte, boxing looked overrated
