The diminutive, by comparison, Mayweather was going up against The Big Show (real name Paul Donald Wright II), whose stats were said to be 7 feet and almost 400 pounds of both muscle and the opposite of muscle. Any way you look at it, he was a big guy. It was a no-disqualification match, of course."

Is this Dylan Hernandez? Seems like something he'd write/promote.

That guy's work on Mayweather screams of Latino resentment of black fighters. And I'm not even a race baiter, but his writing stands out to me. Too many undertones to ignore.

He could learn a bit from Pugmire. Although he's a bit soft on GBP, his writing isn't that opinionated. Comes off a lot more objective.

That fat lazy ref allowed mcgregor to rabbit punch all night... Mayweather had bruises and bums behind his ears post fight... Thats how fighters die... Kenny bayless is the only ref that never allows rabbit punches and always protects fighters safety.... Fire robert byrd

My guess is Dana and NSAC had an agreement to stop it as soon as Conor looked like he could be in real danger.

The whole point for Dana and UFC to make this fight is they will make a killing when Conor returns to UFC this year. They can't have him beaten so badly that he can't fight for UFC again.

Dunn I promise that was the first thing on my mind when that stoppage happened. That's why Dana is praising it as a good stoppage.

Agreed. For all the BS , you could see Floyd getting more and more pissed off in the 8th round. In the 9th, once Conor landed the body shot, Floyd seemed to say enough. He started really bringing it.

Conor IMO was going to stay up for as long as possible because he came to win. He may have taken another 10-15 power shots to the head before he went down, maybe even more. Not necessary IMO and could've been potentially damaging to his health.

UFC just lost Rousey and Jones is facing a suspension. No need to get your most prized asset damaged.

Nah man, they should have allowed Connor to he concussed flat on his back. Why? Because now we've got excuses from ALL MMA fans that it was stopped too early.

Did any one find Al Bernstein commentary to be a little off than what it usually is?
