I don't think this fight will happen. Lemieux is wasting his time trying to get a big money fight with Cotto. Cotto is a big welterweight or a small Jr. middleweight. Lemieux is a big very hard punching middleweight. I think Cotto wants an easier fight for his last fight. Lemieux has said before he can't go below 160 and Cotto won't agree to fight at that weight.

Lemieux sounding like this is a done deal. lol Also Fat Dan was the one who started all this talk when Cotto signed with Golden Boy and Kamegai fight was made he reported that he was told that this was a tune up fight and that Cotto was fighting Lemieux after that. And Lemieux had a title shot fall in his lap with Saunders after Kurtz got arrested he became the next WBO top contender. And he turned it down saying he had a bigger fight in the works. Somebody is telling Lemieux and Rafael this fight is happening.
