    Pretty much this
Connor is a 170lbs southpaw with a height/reach advantage on Floyd and hes awkward.
FM was forced to be agressive because outboxing the bigger mcgregor would have proven much more difficult.
I think a lot of boxing fans are pretty much in denial about this, you dont just lose 3-4 rounds for fun.

So basically you completely fail. Let's see If Floyd can beat Conor in mma now and see what's up. But guess what, he don't have the balls to try and do that.

You b@tches are just salty that no hoper, 0-0, white boy Conor took rounds off Floyd!!!!!

      Bahahaha!!!! Pathetic and transparent.

Great post. Conor did shock the boxing world even in defeat. Floyd did nothing until Conor started gassing. I found it surprising myself because I didn't think he would compete at all and I had it 5-4 Conor going into rd. 10.

Do you really believe in a fight that a boxer would beat an MMA fighter? Come on, ignorant much?
This is the next misconception MMA guys will hide behind. Doing MMA is no garauntee to success in a street fight vs a boxer either. Especially since most MMA guys can't take or throw a serious punch. But if the MMA guys has the oopourtunity and room to wrestle the boxer may or not may be at a disadvantage depending on the particular situations and his own physical attributes. Just cuz a guy isnt a wrestler doesn't mean he can't hold his own against another guy of similar size.

Are we talking organized street fighting with level pristine pavement, dirt, alleyways, grass, hills, or barroom room brawl? Are we talking two people in a heated argument began battle or two guys set in front of each other and told when to start? Are we talking in kimbo slices backyard? It's all situational. You'd have to set up a ring and make the conditions favorable for kicking and grappling. Which ain't exactly a steet fight. Why is that MMA justified their existence in a lot of states by saying that boxing is statiscilaly more dangerous for a fighters health.

The difference between Thai boxing, boxing, pure wrestling, bjj, and MMA is the formers tend to master one skill set due to having more rules. There's a more mental aspect to these sports than MMA because of it. In MMA any fighter can go from a string of wins to a string of losses quickly because the nature of the game is based off skill and luck. Boxing is a game of skill and thinking.

Boxing is superior. Pretty Boy Floyd KOs McGregor in the Octagon after McWelfare trys to trade with Floyd
This post is a complete lie. In his first MMA fight, Ray Mercer lost to Kimbo Slice, a street fighter who barely had 1 year of MMA training at the time.

We all saw what happened with James Toney in his first MMA fight.

Ricardo Mayorga has an MMA record of 0-3-1.

So who are these 3 boxers you're talking about? Obviously Floyd would get killed vs McGregor in an MMA fight or even a kickboxing match. We have to give McGregor credit for stepping into a ring with am expert like Floyd, a man in the conversation for G.O.A.T.

There are some with amateur boxing background. Cody Garbrandt and Stipe Miocic are two that come to mind. If I had to guess, you're still upset about last night so I understand.

Pro boxers fighting in MMA only need to learn 2 things:

                  1. solid defence against take downs
                  2. solid defence against kicks

Each fight will be a breeze for boxers and will always end in a KO win.

Actually Conor started as a boxer , the current HW champion was a golden gloves winner and came in as a boxer and he KO everyone with his hands inside 1 round which is funny as hell

Conor hits really hard, he just didn't have the ring skills to leverage his punches the way he does in the octagon.
