False. You take it EXTREMELY seriously. It's not just a bit of fun to you, it's something that you place a huge amount of importance in and are greatly emotionally invested in.



McGregor was an MMA fighter making his boxing debut. He did it purely for the money, but you try to make it more than that, trying to turn it into some deeply personal tribal war. The fact you even needed to say "we actually don't take it personal" is an admittance you do. LOL

bored of this so called rivalry, two different sports, two different skillsets, why has one got to be better than the other? i will always prefer boxing to watch but if people prefer mma so be it, both sports require high level of skilland bravery.

I enjoy the synergy.

MMA has close ties with Jiu Jitsu, with Wrestling, with Kickboxing/Muay Thai to a less degree.

But not so much with Boxing.

Boxing has been the big boy on the block for generations (among combat sports) and can be a bit elitist; and with MMA coming up, a bit defensive.

This event just brings things that much close between the two. It elevates combat sports.

Boxing has always been superior, always will be. Boxing is a science, a chess game, thats the beauty of it. MMA is like high school kids fighting at recess or something, plain ugly and sloppy with terrible fighting.

Whether Conor lost in round 1, 10, or 12, he had no chance whatsoever. Boxing wins no matter what you think, its just how it is in this life time. Maybe the next life, MMA will be superior but not this one, sorry kiddo

No man that's just some stuff people repeat on the internet. There's nothing more scientific about boxing than MMA. It has viewer variables, a smaller skillset.

I watch boxing and kickboxing because it's more aesthetically pleasing but MMA takes more intelligence and roundedness. I don't have to watch it and neither do you but this whole argument is silly.
