He should enjoy it. He got offered 10x his best ever payday (probably more) and he approached the whole thing as an adventure. You could see after the fight that it was all fun for him.

They didn't steal anything, we knew what the outcome was going to be & we just wanted to see it that's all & it's not that they "need to go away" cuz this is what brought a fan base from 2 sports together, money & entertainment. Floyd will retire & Conor will do as he pleases. Been a Floyd fan forever & I am now a Conor fan as well.Comment

Steve Farhood also said that Jack Degale was an even fight so take it for what it isDid Showtime really only have May up 1 round? Time to quit guys.
Conor won first two, mainly because Floyd didn't do anything rather than his dominance, and maybe sc****d the third. Rest were clear Floyd rounds.
I don't like all the sour g****s talk coming from McGregor now. Show some respect. You got your ass handed to you by an old man half your size.Comment

Ok I'm wrong along with the official judges, sky sports, and most media including Five Live and The guardian in U.K.
But you're right. May was only one round up.
And yes sour g****s. Like, early stoppage, fight was close, wasn't hurt just fatigued, could have come back and won, etc etc. Show some respect Conor.
Surprised I have to explain that to you.Comment

Same here, and yes he was graceful after the fight. But since then;
Early stoppage
Wasn't hurt just fatigued
Would've come back and won
Floyd doesn't hit hard and isn't fast, just composed
Judges were biased
Just give the man some credit. You just fought a legend.Comment

yeah, i am a hater if thats what you want to call me, i dont like him.he said floyd was in worst ever shape but floyd in worst ever shape still managed to stop mcgregor. saying how you are going to knock someone out in round 1 and bounce their head of the canvas, and then proceed to get beaten up and stopped, isnt something thats going to make me a fan of his. Pre fight hype or not, the way he conducted himself and his performance in the ring reflects badly on UFC in my opinion. he wasnt some humble plucky underdog who said he'd give it a go, he was hugely disrespectful and hes ended up with egg on his face. came across as some gob****e who couldnt back up his boasts and he can **** off back to ufc with his tail between his legs, glad the show is over.Comment

When you say "we", I assume you're talking about real boxing fans. "We" knew the outcome, and several of us still paid for the farce. But "we" didn't represent the majority. Most of the people that paid to see this aren't even what could be considered casual boxing fans. I had about 30 people over my house last night. Which BTW would never happened in a real fight. I prefer to watch those alone. But only one other person here was a hardcore fight fan. And most people here thought McGregor was gonna win. At work and everywhere else in the buildup, most people I talked to thought McGregor was gonna win. Those are the people that were robbed.They didn't steal anything, we knew what the outcome was going to be & we just wanted to see it that's all & it's not that they "need to go away" cuz this is what brought a fan base from 2 sports together, money & entertainment. Don't rain on the mans participation trophynever known a fighter and a fan base being so proud of a stoppage loss (after telling everyone day in and day out they would win) he got stopped by a 40 year old man who hasnt legitimately stopped someone in 10 years, quite a significant size difference too. could be argued he quit too cause he completely went into his shell when the going got tough.Comment

Only Conor and the UFC would have a massive moral victory party.
