  • I think Floyd wins, but it would be closer than many think. GGG has a great jab and length. If he used his jab from the outside and roughed Floyd up on the ropes it would be a really close fight.

This more mature Canelo would "good boy" Floyd. Golovkin would walk right through him. But I admire your belief in your hero, even though he never fought at middleweight.

Floyd had his hands full with Maidana and lots of people thought their first fight was a draw or worse for Mayweather. This middleweight Canelo would beat Floyd and Golovkin would terminate him.

        • At 154 a prime Floyd beats him 10-2.

No, he won't. If he really could, why would he choose to fight at welterweight (light middleweight being his heaviest division) without ever fighting at middleweight? That alone should answer everything.

Floyd Mayweather Jr would get beat worse than Kell Brook did. 'Boxing' skills become irrelevant for a boxer if their opponent could literally walk through their punches. That's exactly what would've happened had they fought at 160 pounds.

Styles make fights. Canelo and Golovkin both put their boxing fundamentals before slugging. I think a younger Floyd could still eek out a decision against both of them. The size starts really showing at MW though. You might be right.

He boxed his ears off the 2nd fight, he chose to stand the first fight, he would not stand still with GGG he would box like he did beating Canelo and many others, if you think 154 wouldnt reduce GGG to nothing you dont know what youre looking at.

Floyd is not and never would fight at 160, he started at 130 he would be like a midget at 160.

Floyd is a much better boxer than Kell, and Kell had early success. Anyway, read my post below your post.

I'm no Floyd nutthugger, just think he could eek out a win against either. Canelo couldn't cut the ring off. Look at the Lara fight. And GGG had a hard time finding Canelo tonight. He would have a lot harder time finding Floyd.
