Punch back and its not stopped, Connor was out on his feet and was going down he could have kept going by throwing a punch he just got belted and did nothing to stop it being stopped.

Boxing is a sport. It is a sport yhan involves a lot of hurt but a sport nonetheless. We should look to reduce the risk of permanent damage which means stopping a fight when a fighter can no longer protect themselves and/or is taking a worrying amount of punishment.

McGregor was gassed and getting punched around the ring. His head was snapping back with each punch landed and he could not avoid that straight right when Mayweather unleashed it. From yhat point, it was only going to go downhill.

I felt Kovalev could have continued but he showed no signs of wanting to. He was looking at the ref for punches that were legal and bu the time the fight was stopped he had curled up into a ball.

Its a sport for men and you dont belong among us. Go watch ballerinas or sex in the city with the other twinks and leave boxing to us men.

Imagine Castillo-Corrales nowadays lol..some of the greatest fights in history had someone coming back from absolute dire straights to win. Now if you go in the corner and the other guy throws 5-10 punches, wether they land or not, the ref comes jumping in.

Arguably. Eitherway, Bay stoppage was more legit than Floyd-Conor, you can tell he was hurt, while Conor was just gassed rather than hurt.

By using this over-protectionism we will see less and less KO and boxing will slowly turn to a semi-contact sport unless you have guys like Amir Khan that goes unconscious every time.

The ref was protecting McGregor for some reason. I've seen guys getting beat up much worse along the ropes. This guy calls boxing "half a fight" and the ref stops it because McGregor is tired smh. Let Floyd at least drop him ffs.

Now MMA fans will not only say a boxing novice fought an ATG on even terms before gassing out, but they'll also say he finished the fight on his feet without getting knocked down.

What about the Price - Thompson II fight? A quick refresh: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MydOYzmNAqs

He was also completely out of gas. He received a standing count, but should that only have been an eight count?

This was a guy in his first fight who hadn't thrown a punch in forever & wasn't intelligently defending himself. Now I'd be lying if I didn't say I'd have preferred a more conclusive ending, but its not like it was an inconclusive ending either lol.

Floyd had dude dead to rites & all that we were gonna see is more brain cells lost & perhaps serious injury if that fight went on longer. Conor was not in good shape, he didn't complain at the stoppage which says everything to me most of the time in situations like this.

I didn't love the stoppage, but I liked it & more importantly understood the stoppage & have zero issues with it all things considered.

Floyd hit him on one side of the ring and he spaghetti legged to the other side of the ring.

                      It was over.
