mcgregor is actually a world class athlete and showed that he was in great shape last night. he hit a wall after about twice as many rounds as most boxing people suspected, and much later than most debuting boxers could ever dream of.

my hat actually goes off to that guy. he did OK in my book, certainly well enough to save face. the writing was on the wall after 3 rounds, when his power clearly started to fade, but the guy did damn good for a debuting fighter.
    Hats off to the guy.

Conor did a lot for a pro debut fighter. Can't say enough of how he surprised me to take the fight on for 10 rounds over an elite boxer.

if only he'd had eaten his kale he'd have a knockout win over floyd mayweather!

if only he'd taken two dozen fights and learned how to pace himself for 12 rounds and get a second wind is much more appropriate. the guy was in fine shape, you guys are nuts if you disagree. in fact, he probably trained too much
I can because I seen his MMA fights and know when he's gassed. Check his fights versus Nick Diaz if you don't believe me.

A guy doesn't need to collapse in the ring for me to know he's gassed. McGregor has poor stamina and it showed in round 4 onwards.

Debuting in terms of boxing skill but not debuting in terms of long fights. The guy has fought the championship distance in mma, which is 5 rounds, 25 minutes of punching, kicking, wrestling. Those are harder than boxing rounds and he has shown bad stamina again and again

That's a major issue if he can't sort it out aged 28 and in the biggest event of his career. Now that could be his personal life choices and bad living or a poor team around him. A combination of the two.

And yes mcgregor did very well and was in the lead by round 7 when his stamina just fell apart. It was David price esque in how quickly his body fell apart.

How exactly did he do well when Floyd carried it on? Floyd let him win the first few rounds by barely throwing anything, and he could of knocked him out in the 7th and 8th but backed off. This was just Floyd putting on a show so people get their money's worth.

Floyd let him you idiot, you think he is just going to smash a guy that big, Floyd threw 9 punches in 2 rounds, high guard and not a backward step.

Didn't you hear Floyd say he was not the fighter he was even 2 yrs ago, that he will take to him and stop him.

Floyd was a profit in this because EVERYTHING he said was exactly what happened. Now go see what Connor said he would do lol.

Floyd has ruined your life and as a boxing fan youre a germ.

Expectations were so low for Conor that anything he did would be elevated. He made a good accounting of himself. Floyd clearly has slipped. He won by ko as he should've.

                  Are you guys serious?

Let him win. No sportsman wants an opponent to let him win.

It's about winning as much as you can.

Don't tell me he let Conor punch him too right? Right?

Why you such a dumb fck, high guard walking down a guy that much bigger than you off course your going to get hit, Floyd was laughing at him and bashed him.

Floyds selling a show he said himself he was wants to make up for the borefest called the pacquaio fight where your boy didn't want to engage him. So Floyd wanted to give people their money worth anyone with half a brain could see it he even gave a troll face after the 3rd round and that's when he started warming up.

And He let him win those rounds by not throwing anything. Conner landed a few pillow shots here and there not one serious punch, most his **** hit gloves and air.
