If Trout beats Hurd why not a rematch?

Nobody cares about that fight. But everyone who is a fan of Cotto would pay to see his last fight against a great fighter in his prime.

Stop it. Cotto is too old to be able to overcome the size advantage they'd have on him. If he wants 1 last hurrah, he'd have a better shot of making a welterweight like Thurman or Danny Garcia move up to face him at 154. That'd be a good way to go out, win or lose.

Canelo couldn't even beat old Cotto. Even thou he came in the ring outweighting Cotto by 20 pounds he refused yo be the aggresor the whole night. Hadnt it been for Cottos commitmebt he wouldnt have seena fight at all.

GGG vs Cotto is a great matchup due to both fighters styles, and if somehow Canelo wins Cotto is going to make sure he doesn't have the same weight advantage as last time

I thought about Trout too as one of possible options. But that would likely be impossible because Trout is fighting Hurd in the middle of October, not enough turn around time.

According to Golden Boy, they have Madison Square Garden on hold for December 2nd.

Ironic coz Canelo was so scare to fight Cotto he simply stood in the middle of the ring the whole night. Had Cotto stay on the ropes he would have win giving Carlos reluctance to look for him.
