But a (former) UFC Champion has already lost to a boxer in the cage. Roy Mercer KO'd Tim Sylvia in like 10 seconds in an MMA fight.
Boxer always has a punchers chance in MMA but how does an MMA guy win 3 rounds and go 10 with the best boxer of our generation? Conor should have be dominated and stopped in 4.

I dont think it did. Conor recieved no damage, just fatigued, did he even go down? The fight should have been let to go a little longer at least.

Floyd always gives away the first 2 rounds? Floyd simply doesn't mount an offense that early.

I can't really argue against your expectations because it makes no sense. Conor is still a world-class fighter in his prime, would be dumb to try to stop him in 4 rounds.

This was a BOXING match and Conor has never had a pro Boxing match in his life, you could tell by the hammer fists LOL. How can the best boxer of our generation not be able to take out a guy with ZERO BOXING matches in 4 or less?

Conor was gassed at the end of 10 rounds and Floyd couldn't even drop him without consecutive punches.

Do you actually think it's reasonable to think Floyd could of KO'd him in 4 or less?

Stop embarrassing yourself, you bumsniff. Boxing didn't win because your idol cherrypicked a novice to line his pockets. Boxing was doing fine without his overhyped sparring sessions dragging down the sport.

Why are people are acting like Floyd isn't 40 years old coming off a two year lay-off? Conor "winning" a round is not that impressive, especially with Floyd saying it was his game plan to let hit Conor punch himself out and give the fans an exciting fight. Now if this was prime Floyd Mayweather or even Mayweather from two years ago...
