A 40 year old, 2 years inactive, non puncher walked dowm and stopped the "best boxer in MMA" whilst being outweighed by 20 pounds.

MMA fans needed to be humbled a bit. I doubt they will though. I expect to see 500 gifs of the same uppercut that Conor landed every day for the next 3 years.

Get ****ing real. Conor was outboxing and outclassing floyd. PERIOD. Farhood had Floyd only up by a point. McGregor landed the best punches of the fight and he was going to get the championship rounds. Byrd looked for the first excuse to stop the fight. Not even a 10 count. Conor won tonight by outboxing floyd.

MMA guys are saying that an MMA guy with zero pro boxing fights won 3 rounds and lasted almost 10 with the best boxer of our generation. This was not a win for boxing! If it was GGG and he walked in and caved his face in in under 2 then it would be a win. Optics is everything here.
