Yeah it's good for pepsi, how the *** is it good for me?I think some boxing fans finding the negatives in any positive is relevant and more importantly to me just sorta a consistent funny reality I deal with talking to those types of boxing fans on this site.
Lol wut. Wait so you're telling me the less money in boxing the better things are for the sport of boxing? That's D+ trolling or you done lost your mind brother.
Randomly does this mean the WBSS is just gonna be a huge f#ckboy festival or is some sorta hustle or something. I'd love to hear and laugh at your theory on why the WBSS getting $50M is somehow creating corruption and making more problems than it's solving with ur more money in boxing is bad nutball theory.
Lol I can't even believe you're saying something so ridiculous.
You don't understand how people buying more Pepsi is good for Pepsi? Come the f#ck on man. You understand how business, money and profit works right? This isn't a complicated idea.
Why these dudes always trolling?!?!? Lol.
You havent refuted any of my points bud, Using the Cruiserweight tournament as example to prove how MORE money and MORE casuals is better for the sport isnt a good example either.
1. The tournament won't bring any significant amount of casuals to the sport, it's a tournament for the hardcore boxing nerds, casuals would not know a single guy in it.
2. The tournament is not a 'new' thing per say, there has been a load of boxing tournaments in history.
YES im telling you less money in boxing IS a good thing!
Less money means less corruption in ANY sport, this is essentially my core point, please try to refute it bruh

Well if you're a Pepsi fan it'll likely lead to more &/or better Pepsi products in the future. Companies that win the battle of capitalism tend to reinvest in itself. I'm suggesting boxing does the same.
I don't even grasp the logic in what you are saying to dispute it. Boxing is better when there is less money in it is just ******. If there is so little money in boxing at some point boxing LEGIT dies. You can't have a sport where no one can make a livable wage or even one where few can make a livable wage. Who's risking their life when the best boxers make little money? I'd suggest very few people. All of boxing would look like womans boxing. You havent refuted any of my points bud, Using the Cruiserweight tournament as example to prove how MORE money and MORE casuals is better for the sport isnt a good example either.
It depends on what platforms its put on & how its advertised among other factors. Being that it has few US fighters (just 1 iirc) in it I highly doubt it has much impact in the US market, but I think it can have impact in other regions with creating more mainstream/casual fans &/or interest in boxing.1. The tournament won't bring any significant amount of casuals to the sport, it's a tournament for the hardcore boxing nerds, casuals would not know a single guy in it.
Who's arguing tournaments didn't exist before this one? I'm just saying this is $50M into the sport of boxing by people who aren't from boxing & I'm saying thats a good thing.2. The tournament is not a 'new' thing per say, there has been a load of boxing tournaments in history.
Thats just ******ed lol. Idek what else to say.YES im telling you less money in boxing IS a good thing!
Its relative doe. I'd say corruption is always going to exist in anything to some degree so yea if boxing is a 5B industry there is gonna be ~3% corruption or whatever figure you wanna use as an example & if its a $100M industry you are gonna have ~3% corruption. But you are having corruption either way to some small % point. If anything I'd argue if there is less money in boxing the barrier to entry for corrupt influences is lower so more money leads to less people being able to have the power to influence as money is controlling things. On the other side you can do more good things in the sport & put together the fights & higher caliber shows & just have more positive impact for fans & boxers & the sport of boxing when there is more money vs less money.Less money means less corruption in ANY sport, this is essentially my core point, please try to refute it bruh
So saying there should be less money in boxing is like saying less families should get food stamps or that they should get less food stamps cuz some people are gaming the system. Sure people will always hustle things & try to find edges. And where there is more to be gained there will be equally measured risks taken for how much could be gained, but that doesn't mean you don't do more harm to the future or just lowering your future potential by worrying about those small minority of people that are doing sketchy things over the vast majority attempted to do good.
Plus there is still the argument that more money gets more eyes on the cookie jar too. So it can often be harder to get away with those edges some guys will try to find in the long haul.
And lastly I'd say the problem in boxing isn't the money, lots or lil of it, as much as the infrastructure of the sport being set up in a way that allows for many fractions of groups with power increasing the possible access points for corruption. Til you start fixing that sh^t corruption will for sure keep existing at some % cuz its like we are sailing in a leaky boat & it doesn't matter if we are in 20 foot of water or 200 foot of water we'll still have a f#cking hole in the bottom of our boat.Comment

The revenue a product produces in the marketplace is the only measure of quality that product can claim.I think some boxing fans finding the negatives in any positive is relevant and more importantly to me just sorta a consistent funny reality I deal with talking to those types of boxing fans on this site.
