Can't people just be in it for the spectacle of it all? I think the overwhelming majority of the people buying this fight are gonna be people who haven't brought a PPV since Floyd vs Manny.

I think Chael Sonnen said something on point about this fight. It was verbatim "people aren't going to buy this fight to see who wins, they are going to buy this fight to see what happens". Thats the appeal of this fight not the competition angle or some fake MMA vs Boxing battle over the future of combat sports.

People who give no f#cks about boxing or MMA on a regular basis, which is gonna be the people influencing how big this fight is or isn't, just wanna see wtf is gonna happen.

As a boxing fan I want competitive fights not some bs like this. ND THE REASON I don't want people buying this ND it flopping is so that people do that try and sell this crap in the future.

The sport is built in a manner for circuses to excel. Your problem is with the structure of boxing not this fight. Or Canelo vs Chavez Jr (or the other bs fights he's been0 raping the loyal Mexican fanbase with since Floyd retired) & other circus or bs fights or lower level circus fighters like Butterbean, Kimbo Slice & Mia St. John or other novelty things like that.

Although idk that I'd classify MayPac as a circus fight doe despite it happening later than anyone wanted it was still a fight among top 3ish, top 5ish caliber guys at the time which idk that any boxing fan should ever hate on.

Yea I understand your stance I'm just saying it sounds like to me you dislike boxings revenue generating model, like myself even if I'm more accepting of the specific circus fights then you, more than you got beef with this fight.

Or if you don't feel like that I'd argue that should be your major beef cuz one fight don't matter in the grand scheme of things nor will this fight bombing in the event it did. Canelo will be fighting one eyed Margarito next year if he can slide that fight by fans after a GGG W in 2mos.

Yep. I also noticed Floyd had sneakers on with huge soles. The kind that when you look from the side you can see that line of support bubbles.
Their shoulders were almost level today. Not on the first day. I dont think Floyd liked looking up that much.

McGregor is wearing dress shoes with 2" heels, Floyd wore some bigger tennis shoes this time. McGregor is probably 1" taller than Floyd, no more than that.
