  • I see this fight going 6-8 rounds before it's stopped and Conor is TKO'd from accumulation of punishment.

I think Conor's gonna come out fast and rush Floyd, and I think it'll take about 3-4 rounds before Conor starts to realize he has no chance.

At first Conor's gonna think he can take Floyd's punch and he's gonna start faster than Floyd, but he's not gonna hit much of anything for the first 2-3 rounds.

Once the fight gets past the 4th round Conor's gonna start to feel some of those counters, and the body punches are gonna get him worried, and as soon as Conor slows down or gets tired at all this fight is over.

Perhaps I'm being too generous but I think between Floyd's showmanship and Conor's youth and athleticism we'll get a few rounds out of this fight.

Probably no shocking KO, probably not a ton of early firepower, just a slow round by round fight where Floyd methodically picks apart an amateur however he pleases at his own 40 year old pace.

Yes it would. Depending on the match-up it could be huge.

      - Yield anything, as in a benefit to the sport of Boxing?
It'd be a different dynamic at play. The sport of MMA is looking up at Boxing. Boxing is the established brand, so to speak. The mere fact that this match-up is happening is a benefit to the sport of MMA... there's a legitimacy that MMA gains from this. But it would NOT necessarily be a benefit to Boxing if it were the other way around.
What are some of the matchups some dumb ass boxers would take "a ton of money" for? I mean, it would be strange to see a boxer get in the octagon and actually make a living wage there, whereas many UFC fighters don't make squat. The logic escapes me....

      • I'm not a fan of either to be honest but I will say this...

This will not end in a ko by Mayweather. The only way this ends via ko is if McGregor lands a flush bomb. And as masterful as Mayweather is, there's a real threat of a chance that McGregor will deliver him his first L.

If it goes the distance, chalk another one up for Mayweather. Whih is my pick. Mayweather via decision.

        • ''How Will Conor Win If He's Not On The Juice?'' We know how rampant the UFC was being cracked on before its partnership with USADA. We seen videos of Cyborg cutting close to 30 lbs to make a particular weight.

We seen how more natural looking Conor is at the scales at 155-170 Lightweight to Welterweight. It's pretty obvious Dana White was playing ****** (in not knowing) the ways to cash in with McGregor's wins..

Seriously, if McGregor makes the scales at 147 and is being overlooked by USADA how in the hell is he going to perform at anything peak level for 12 rounds?

People need to realize that McGregor is not going to be anything like at his Featherweight performances because USADA is involved. Expect Conor to be losing massive weight like Chavez Jr. - massive dieting - to hit 147 without much drainage so that he can conserve some energy in the ring.

for months they were negotiating Boxing's Welter cap. It makes so much sense why it was stalled! lol That KO power couldn't knock out Diaz, it ain'T gonna happen with 10oz gloves against a guy that could take Maidana's punch, who walked around 180+ correct?

Yeah Maidana walks around heavy. As does obviously Canelo amongst others.

Obviously it's not. McGregor isn't a hard puncher when it comes to Boxing.

Canelo's always fit and has a training team strictly dedicated to him. Have you ever seen Alvarez off season's on Youtube since his career even remotely heavy? That kid is ALWAYS in shape! He doesn't go into training to lose weight bruh... He's always training, and too short to be anywhere near ''Heavy.''

I mean seriously, we'Re contextualizing Alvarez to Chino?! cmon bruh

Well he's not fat like Maidana but he's about 180 lbs in shape.

He very much does go into camp and cuts weight
