He wasn't weighed. Jim Grey asked him about his weight in a classic Grey cringe-worthy interview. McGregor said "I haven't weighed myself but probably around 170."

McGregor said he'd be around 170 in the build up, as part of the myth that McGregor has a big size advantage (apparently people, including in the media, don't have the ability to gauge size with their eyes now).

That's why Grey asked the question, and that's why McGregor answered the way he did. Not because of any reality-based reasons.

Conor says he's close to 170. After they show him shirtless, I really doubt that, he looks thin. People don't realize his weight is in his legs. Floyd's upper body is bigger than McGregor's.
