Lampley is the biased one he only acknowledges punches for his guy even when they don't land he will make something up and roys the one to correct him and calls the fight how he sees it. On the money with Kellerman tho he's post fight interviews are horrible as well.

He never appealed to me. I like the old school announcers. I'd rather have Bob Papa and Teddy, if u ask me.

Ya he does. Remember him, with Pernell Whittaker? I heard even PW got tired of Max's man crushes.

IMO, HBO needs to restrategize its commentary and make new programming ventures, a new infrastructure. I see Showtime and ESPN leading in boxing.

It can all be remedied, but HBO needs to riff Lampley and Kellerman. They're just boring

          Kellerman and lampley are terrible.

I didn't always agree with Merchant and Stewart on what was going on outside the ring but I at least respected their insightful point of views on what was going on in the ring.

Lennox was a good commentator also. When he wasn't talking about himself. Most boxing analyst are stale or biased. The ex-boxer/analyst Do the best job to bringing your attention to little things happening in the ring.

And Merchant had the balls to disagree with the **** riding commentators. I remember many times he'd call out little shots that the others dismissed and sure enough that he the shot that hurt the biased fighter later. Insight.

Problem is they're not really commentators anymore, they're just there to push an agenda. I haven't been able to listen to them for about 7 years. Showtime's commentary team is a million miles better. They're very good/unbiased

If I was at HBO i'd fire both of them. Especially old ass puppet/cheerleader Lampley. He's beyond dreadful. **** **** ****. LOL what a fool.

What's funny is that this thread could've been made at any point in the last 6 years and would've been just as relevant. They're beyond dreadful and annoying.
